Every summer at Oasis, At the Movies gives us the chance to do what Jesus did—use stories people already love to reveal the truth they deeply need.

This week’s message is based on Hidden Figures—the incredible true story of three brilliant Black women at NASA who helped launch the first American into orbit. But behind every headline moment was a hidden season… full of setbacks, obstacles, and quiet faithfulness.

Maybe you’ve felt that too. Like there’s more inside you, but the road to live it out feels blocked, slow, or uncertain. In this message, we’ll talk about what to do when you feel overlooked, stuck in the shadows, or unsure of what God’s placed in you.

Because the truth is—some of the most powerful things God puts in us start out hidden.

But He never hides them to stay buried. He hides them to be revealed at just the right time.

You’re not a hidden figure anymore.
