Something is always in charge

Who's actually running your home right now? Not who should be. Who actually is?

For most of us, it isn't a person. It's the schedule. The stress. The bills. The phone that buzzes 97 times before dinner. Nobody decides to let anxiety run their household. But when you don't choose who's in charge, something else volunteers for the job.

In Week 1 of It Starts at Home, Pastor Clint looks at Psalm 127 and Joshua 24 and asks a simple question: who's the general contractor of your life? You can build a home, a career, and a family without God at the center, and it'll look fine. It just won't hold what you need it to hold.

And before Joshua could say "as for me and my house," he had to settle the "as for me" part. You are the first home God wants to lead.
